Understand your cancer2017-02-21T02:22:22+00:00

Surely there are only two things you need to understand about cancer. One is that you have it. The other is that you don’t want it. Pretty simple, right?

Not really. The type of prostate cancer you have; the way it grows and spreads; the treatments that might work best for you; how your body… hell, how your life could be affected — these are all going to be important to understand. Reliable information that you can base your decisions on, is going to be vital.

Get the lowdown

It’s likely that your doctor or specialist (or both) have already given you a diagnosis and discussed what it could mean. Chances are you didn’t catch everything they said because the word cancer tends to drown out all other thoughts.

The resources below link you to information you might have missed in that initial discussion. It’s material that will be useful to you, and the people you share your life with, because you can all expect some changes to how you do things now.
